ECOMMERCE STORE LTD ships from partner warehouses. UK orders are our core service: tracked domestic delivery with customer support in Herne Bay. We also send tracked parcels to the EU countries offered at checkout. Emily Carter’s operations team coordinates picking, 3PL hand-off and carrier exceptions.
1. How delivery works
When we accept your order we send a confirmation, then a second email with a tracking number when the warehouse scans the parcel out. You can also paste the order number into Track order.
Most in-stock lines leave within 24 hours on a working day. Pre-order or made-to-order items show their own dispatch date on the product page — that date replaces the 24-hour promise.
2. United Kingdom
Standard UK delivery is typically 2–4 working days after dispatch. Express, where offered at checkout, aims for the next working day if you order before the cut-off and the warehouse has stock.
We deliver to home addresses, workplaces and staffed pickup points. A signature may be required for higher-value orders. If you are out, the carrier will usually leave a card or send an SMS with a redelivery or collection option.
Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, islands and some BFPO addresses can take longer and may not qualify for next-day. Checkout shows the options that are actually available for the postcode you enter.
3. Rest of Europe
Where checkout offers EU delivery, parcels are tracked to the destination country. Typical windows after dispatch:
- Ireland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany — 2–5 working days
- Spain, Italy, Poland, Nordics — 3–7 working days
- Other EU destinations we serve — up to 10 working days
You may choose home delivery or a pickup point (we work with a network of tens of thousands of points). Import VAT for EU consumers is handled according to the destination rules shown at checkout. You should not be asked for extra tax on a fully-paid ALIGC order; if a carrier wrongly requests it, keep the receipt and write to support.
4. Delivery charges
| Service | When it applies | Typical charge |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Basket under the free threshold | Shown at checkout (from €3.95) |
| Free standard | Basket €49 and over, after discounts | €0 |
| Express | Where the postcode allows it | From €4.95 |
| Pickup point | Same as standard, often cheaper on small orders | Shown at checkout |
| Oversize | A handful of bulky home items | Called out on the product page |
The amount you pay is always the amount on the final checkout screen. Coupons that say “free delivery” override the table.
5. Cut-off, weekends and holidays
The same-day dispatch cut-off is 18:00 on a working day (UK time for UK inventory). Orders after that, or on Saturday, Sunday and UK bank holidays, leave the next working day. Carriers do not usually deliver on Sundays unless you bought a service that says so.
Peak weeks (Black Friday, Christmas) can add 1–2 working days. We show a warning on the bag when that is happening.
6. Tracking
Tracking appears once the warehouse has handed the parcel to the carrier — not at the moment you pay. If 24 working hours have passed with no scan, contact support@aligc.com. Do not wait a week: the sooner we raise a carrier trace, the easier it is to find the parcel.
Pickup-point orders are held for a limited time (usually 7 days). If you miss the window the parcel comes back to us and we either re-ship (you may pay postage again) or refund you.
7. Late, missing or damaged parcels
If tracking stops moving for 3 working days, or the carrier marks delivered but you have nothing, write to us with photos of the area and the tracking page. We start a carrier investigation and, if the parcel cannot be found, we resend or refund. You do not need to wait 30 days to open a ticket.
Damaged boxes: refuse the delivery if you are present and the damage is obvious, or take photos and contact us the same day. See also returns for replacements.
8. Addresses and someone else signing
Use a full address with postcode. A neighbour or reception can sign unless you asked for “own hands only” on a high-value order. If the address is wrong and the parcel comes back, we will ask you for the correct one and may charge the second postage unless the error was ours.
We do not deliver to hotels for long stays unless you will still be there for the tracking window. We do not ship to some high-risk PO boxes — checkout will say if a code cannot be used.
9. What we cannot ship
A small number of products are limited by carrier rules (aerosols, lithium batteries above a threshold, liquids in some destinations). The product page will say “not available for this country” rather than letting you pay and then cancelling. We also cannot ship to destinations under UK or international sanctions.
